Justin grew up in South Fargo. He spent his summers on Big Cormorant Lake and winters on Detroit Mountain snowboarding. After graduating from South High, he moved to Missoula to attend the University of Montana and pursue a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Here, his free time was spent rock climbing, mountaineering, and on the ski hill. After graduating in 2002, Justin moved to South Korea to teach ESL and study Korean language at EWHA University. While in Asia he developed a taste for adventure traveling, combining his passion for rock climbing and mountaineering with travel. He moved to Colorado in 2007, and spent 10 years in the outdoor industry doing purchasing and marketing in Aspen. Also in 2007, he reached the summit of Chomolungma (Mt. Everest) on an unsupported unguided expedition for the LUNGevity Everest Expedition.
Justin has a very large family scattered from coast to coast and overseas. In 2016 he had a life changing car accident that reconnected him with his family here in lakes area. This played a large part in his decision to move back and pursue real estate in the lakes area. “I love being here with all of them spending time on Big Cormorant in the summer and having family dinners on Sundays in Fargo,” says Justin. In his free time, Justin enjoys spending time outside on the lakes, trying new things in the kitchen, and going to off the beaten path travel locations.
“As a people person I love to learn about people and what makes them who they are. It’s exciting for me to help and watch people grow. Teamwork makes the dream work!”
