Josh Boschee grew up in Minot, ND where the values of service and community engagement were instilled in him at a young age. He graduated from NDSU with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and later with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. During his time at NDSU, Josh continued to pursue his passion for serving others and community involvement. Post graduation, Josh held several jobs at NDSU, in which he worked closely with students on identifying their strengths and achieving their educational and career goals.
In 2008, the Fargo Forum recognized Josh as one of 20 Under 40 for his service and dedication to the Fargo-Moorhead community. After volunteering and managing campaigns for friends running for office, Josh was encouraged to make a run for office. In November 2012, he was elected to the North Dakota House of Representatives, where he still represents his north Fargo friends and neighbors. Josh is often asked to speak throughout the state on issues related to social justice, community engagement and political activism.
Josh lives in North Fargo with his partner Zach. In his free time, Josh enjoys hanging out downtown with friends and supporting a variety of local and ethnic restaurants to dine at throughout the metro area. He also donates much of his time to serving on community boards including: Prairie Public Broadcasting, Act Up Theatre, FM Coalition for Homeless Persons, the Fargo Theatre, and ND Council of Abused Women’s Services.
At Hatch Realty, Josh’s passion is to empower people to become better versions of themselves and help people open the next chapter of their life through home ownership. A tip Josh often gives and tries to practice himself is, when tackling big goals, do one small thing each day to get you closer to that goal.
