Monica Morehart

Monica grew up on a farm near Shelly, MN, graduated from Halstad High School, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications/Advertising from Moorhead State University. She worked in the Marketing/ Advertising field for over 25 years before joining Hatch in 2014.

Although she is a Minnesota country girl at heart, she has called North Fargo “home” as that is where she raised her pride-and-joy – her son, Nathan. Being a single-mom is not easy, but it is hands-down the most rewarding “job” she has ever had.

Her first position at Hatch was a Transaction Coordinator, and she is now the Office Manager and a member of the Leadership Team. Over the years many things have changed in how we do business, however, one thing has remained constant – our desire to help people and do whatever it takes to help each other out. Her favorite things about working here are seeing the smiles on clients’ faces on closing day; the team members she calls “family”; all the opportunities for growth (business & personal); and working for a company with a foundation built on Faith.

There have also been many personal changes since joining Hatch including her hair color, Nathan graduated from high school, she married the love-of-her-life & soulmate, LeeRoy, she gained another son and a daughter, and she instantly became a “Grandma”. The things that have not changed since joining Hatch include her passion for helping people, her love for chocolate, wine, Norwegian treats, family, friends, sunrises & sunsets, and her car. She still drives her 2003 Oldsmobile she bought when Nathan was in kindergarten.

Fun tip: Monica wears a life jacket when she goes ice fishing. Seriously – she is deathly afraid of water over her head. However, she will do anything for LeeRoy who is an avid fisherman. LeeRoy will also do anything for her as well as she has yet to bait her own fishing hook.
