Wendy Mason

Wendy Mason

Wendy grew up in the small town of Gary, South Dakota which lies on the very eastern edge of the state, butted up against Minnesota. There were only eight kids in her graduating class, all girls. Please don’t ask her what they did for prom!

After high school, Wendy attended SDSU (go Jackrabbits) but actually graduated from Mankato State University with a major in Business Administration and a Marketing minor. Before Hatch Wendy worked as office manager of a startup, 3-D printing solutions company, in Minnetonka, MN. Her favorite job however was at Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie, MN where she  worked in the Women’s Ministries department for over 8 years.

Wendy has three children and two stepchildren, ages 20 – 30: Luke, Lexi, Lauren, Andrew, and Mari, and one fur-doodle Ruby.  Her husband Chris is the Dean of the Offutt School of Business at Concordia University. They sold their home in Bloomington, MN last summer and moved to West Fargo – where the wind power kicks butt –  or at least will blow your hat all the way to Minnesota.

Wendy loves playing tennis and pickleball, entertaining friends and family as well as traveling.

Wendy’s Why in her own words: Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. (Thank goodness because I’m a complete mess!)

An interesting fact that Wendy told us about is that you can’t hum while holding your nose! Try it!
