Born and raised in the heart of south-central Minnesota, Maddie Teachout is proud to call Waseca, MN her hometown. Her Midwestern roots shaped her strong work ethic and genuine care for people, qualities that shine through in everything she does.
Maddie graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in Strategic Communications and a minor in Interior Design. Her background blends creativity with communication, making her a natural when it comes to helping clients visualize the potential of a home and navigating the buying or selling process.
Before joining Hatch, Maddie worked as a Visual Merchandiser at Target, where she honed her eye for design and learned how impactful visual appeal can be. That role sparked her interest in real estate, driven by a love for homes and the stories built within them. For Maddie, helping people find a place where memories are made is more than a job, it’s a passion.
Maddie comes from a close-knit family, including her mom Melanie, dad Jason, three siblings: Brittany, Allissa, and Josh, and two beloved dogs, Snickers the Yorkie Poo and Camper the Golden Retriever.
When she’s not working, you can find Maddie at the gym, soaking up sunshine by the lake, or cheering on the Fargo Force and the RedHawks. She believes in living each day better than the last, finding joy in the little things, and always being someone others can count on.
Her “why” is rooted in relationships being a dependable guide for clients at every stage of their home journey, whether it's a first-time homebuyer starting fresh or a couple finding a cozy spot to host holiday gatherings with grandchildren.
