Most buyers either walk or drive past a home, real estate, and decide whether or not to enter the property based on the look of the exterior. What many buyers may not realize is that the sellers inside the house may be keener to engage with potential buyers than those standing outside. The key to selling your house is in making it appealing to as many potential buyers as possible, and having the best real estate agents in North Dakota can significantly increase your chances of selling your home fast and for top dollar.
Erik Hatch isn’t just selling homes – he’s building leaders and creating communities that thrive. Based in Fargo, North Dakota (where the winters are tough, but the people are tougher), Erik has crafted a career around leading leaders and fostering connection.
Sure, his real estate empire, Hatch Brokered by Real, has sold over 7,000 homes and consistently dominates the North Dakota market. The greatest successes haven't come from the homes sold, but rather the impact that's been made on the lives of the people on Erik's team.
Erik’s real passion is in the communities he’s built and nurtured.
At the heart of his work are three powerful spaces:
When he’s not cultivating these thriving hubs, Erik is shaping the future of real estate through Hatch Coaching, where he mentors the top 1% of agents and leaders in the industry. His approach is simple – servant leadership mixed with a dash of humor and a whole lot of authenticity.
But wait, there’s more! Erik’s philanthropic efforts have raised over $7 million globally to fight poverty and human trafficking, and locally he’s helped generate over $1 million to combat homelessness and uplift vulnerable kids in Fargo.
He’s also a two-time TED Talk speaker, author of “Play for the Person Next to You” and “The Perfect Real Estate Agent Blueprint”, and a frequent keynote for giants like Microsoft and The United Way.
At the end of the day, Erik is just a guy who loves building better humans, better businesses, and better communities. He lives in Fargo with his wife Emily and their two amazing kids, Finley and Simon – leading by example and proving that leadership isn’t just a job, it’s a lifestyle.
Born and raised in the Bismarck-Mandan area, Dave Stein is a proud North Dakotan with deep roots in his community. He attended Bismarck State College before transferring to North Dakota State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. Before joining Hatch, Dave spent several years serving full-time in the North Dakota Army National Guard. His last role was in the Property and Fiscal Office, where he honed his skills in leadership, accountability, and logistics—skills that now serve him well in the real estate industry. Drawn to Hatch by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, Dave sees real estate as more than just transactions—it's about helping families take major steps toward building better lives. Dave is the proud father of four boys and enjoys spending as much time as possible with them, whether at their activities or creating new experiences together. He also has a beloved mixed-breed dog named Sammy, who’s always part of the action. Outside of family life, Dave loves to golf (regardless of his scorecard) and is passionate about continuous learning through books, podcasts, and training. His “why” is clear: to provide his family with rich, worldwide experiences and to coach and guide others through major life transitions, much like he did in youth sports. Dave brings that same energy, care, and commitment to every client he works with. One insight he shares: “The traditional path to wealth isn’t the only one—and it might even be holding people back from living full lives today.” He believes in challenging the status quo and helping people find smarter ways to build their futures. Dave’s long-term goal? To raise strong, independent, kind men who contribute positively to society—and to keep growing himself along the way.
Eli was born and raised in Grand Forks where he also attended college, graduating from the University of North Dakota (UND) with a degree in Business Marketing. To Eli, family is everything. He grew up the second oldest in a sports-loving family with 5 other siblings - a busy household! Eli and his wife Dana have been married since 2019 and have one daughter, Emmy, who is almost two years old. Eli, Dana, and Emmy will be welcoming another baby to the family in early 2023! Eli loves spending time with his family at the lake, checking out the local restaurant scene, traveling and playing “bogey” golf when he has a chance. In Eli’s words, his “WHY” is “Seeing other people accomplish their goals is what gives me life & purpose! Prior to entering real estate, I spent the previous 5 years of my life coaching hockey for the Fargo Force, helping young men accomplish their dreams of playing college and professional hockey. Now my mission is to simplify the real estate process and be a trusted advocate for my clients.” Eli is a firm believer that "knowledge is power" and that learning is a lifelong endeavor. Ask questions. Seek clarity. Be informed!
Erika was born and raised in Wadena, MN, and attended Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) to earn her Bachelors in Social Work, with an emphasis in Criminal Justice. Erika has been with Hatch since 2017. Prior to entering the real estate world, she worked many years in the service industry as well as working in the human services background at the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch. As a result, Erika has a down-to-earth attitude and is genuinely interested in people - their thoughts, behaviors and how they became who they are. She is a natural learner, wanting to know the why behind everything, which allows her to avoid the potential risks for her clients. She enjoys teaching and walking first-time homebuyers through the process, answering questions and finding additional resources for clients if they need extra help during the transaction. She likes thrifting in her spare time - not because she likes shopping, but because she likes to get a deal. She also enjoys WW2 history, including movies and documentaries made on the topic. In addition, if you love to travel, she would love to hear your experiences as she plans her next trip! She’ll cheer for any MN team and enjoys a number of sports. She loves food (eating it and cooking it). Although she doesn’t make it to the lake often, she likes camping and fishing when she can.
